The Body of Christ

Understand a Pauline designation of the church is interesting, the Bible says: “The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?” (1Corinthians 10: 16) The Bible also says: “Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.”(Corinthians 12: 27) which Paul contends that the many members of the local church. The Bible says “ so we as the whole church” Look at this: “And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:” (Ephesians 2: 16) We  all are united in Christ. The Bible says: “For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.” (1Corinthians 12: 12) According to the Apostles believers are together chosen in Christ Jesus (in him), the Bible says: “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:” (Ephesians 1: 4), and participate in His death and resurrection. The Bible says: “Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6: 6-11) Also in His exaltation, the Bible says: “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:” (Ephesians 2: 6) as well as in the gift of the spirit, the Bible says: “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.” (1Corintians 12: 13) And will witness the glory of His second coming. The Bible says: “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” (Colossians 3: 4) Interesting how some view this as a metaphor to the “body of Christ” in relation to Christ who also has an earthly body which is as some theologians suggests is symbolic present in the partaking of the Lord’s Supper. The church displays the fullness of Him “who fill all in all?” The Bible says: “Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.” (Ephesians 1:23) Actually this designation is a more complete description of God’s people. To take this journey of thought with me you must gather a little information about the word “church” refers to having been called out of the world, the “Body of Christ” depicts the inner unity of believers in their Savior” which has a significant of mass proportion that will enlighten us to the revelation for which it was meant. There are a few more points I want to hit on before we put the entire thing to gather and gain the knowledge as well as the key to unlocking of the revelation for our spirit to give birth to the magnitude of these words. So let us continue because the revelation is growing out of proportion to reveal itself.

The inner cannot be equated, however with an invisible unity. Rather it points to a visible bond just as baptism visibly incorporates the believers into the Body of Christ Jesus. The Bible says: “Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:” (Romans 6: 3, 5) In Colossians and Ephesians Paul introduces the headship of Christ over the church. In Romans and 1Corinthians he limits his discussion to the concept of the body of Christ. The Church grows under Christ headship. The Bible says: “And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.” (Colossians 2: 19) Also keep this verse to memory, “For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.” (Romans 12: 4-5) And the church will continue to grow until the end of time.

Within these two sections evidence is complied that shows us without a doubt that we are much more than a massive collection of cells. We seen through the word of God that we are body, mind and spirit or as others might say that we are different collections of cells that produces a massive embodiment of the evolution of man. You have been shown through the word of God that most of the theories taught to you through outside sources that have know factual bases but hypothesized the intellectual integrity of our own precepts to offer other alternative solutions to our created being.  So let us gather the entire collection of the different appearances of the “body” to draw unto the Lord and the revelation for which He placed for you and me at this time in our lives. The Bible says: “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” (James 4:8) So let us come together and watch God grow closer to us through the revelation.

I believe we have concepts and precepts of this particular subject understanding the presumption of this topic in our spiritual growth. I contend that you and I having these preconceived notion cuts us short of the revelation because we bring our own thoughts into the word of God. Christ tell us to come a particular way unto Him, the Bible says: “And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18: 2 – 3) This is a very important  scripture because it tears away from our presumptions. Why? The Bible says: “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:7-9) So what is the significance of these scriptures pertaining to the subject the “Body”. This is the foundation from which we will reveal the information that has been gathered to draw close to the revelation of Christ Jesus in our lives.

We know that we have to come unto God as a child, which understanding begins to unlock the door which houses the principle in the collecting of information to reveal revelation. In order for us to come as a child we have to lay down out perceptions and conceptions about the understanding of the information given unto us through the word of God. Why must this happen? Simple because our Lord and Savior thoughts are much higher than ours and if we use what we have to decipher His word we will miss the agenda of the revelation that is laid before us. Have you ever wondered how come some receive the understanding of a particular scripture or passage for which you know that this person do not have as much education as you have or have not been in the church as long as you have nor studied as much as you have. Interesting how that comes about. Or better yet you have been in service of the Lord for awhile and it seems as if everything has crumbled around you since you started your path or you have not quiet receive the ultimate gift of peace of mind that one always claim they have in Christ Jesus. The main problem in this particular area is all linked to the foundation for which you have build. If we bring something to a table and know not the theme of the meal then we will bring something that is out of place or tends to change our perception of the entire occasion. It is clearly the same way with our Lord and Savior, we have know true understanding of the entire picture because it has not been revealed to us so we have to go in like we are new to receive what is there for us in a clear and untainted picture. The more we try to bring in the more the true essence of our deliverance is tainted. This is how mixed interpretation separates our selves from others. How a different denominational teaching has put God’s people against one another and is destroying the deliverance teaching. This is not the way our Lord meant this to happen but the ploy of the enemy to divert our attention from God to put it on each others. If we focus on what others are doing we are not looking for God’s revelation in our lives.

Now we start in on the right track that we are not going to assume anything but search the scriptures to give revelation for my life. The body was mention in the beginning as a physical form then a spiritual concept and again an attempt to give it as a metaphor of a principle that gives us an unseen action. So how do we put this together? Watch this if we first take what is given then understand that the word of God is still exploding in its creative calling to constant stir us up then I will understand that this particular subject changes as I grow. The concept in the beginning shows us that we are seen as a collective group in the eyes of God that determines our relationship toward Him as an entire person. In that it gives us the true essence as a physical form which the Old Testament refers to us in the beginning. We must realize that our individual connection with our Lord and Savior is very important because of that old saying, “When you stand before the Lord you will be there all alone.” We have to keep that up front before we can do anything our own body has to be on the right track to receive the fullness in the spirit.

Then it is as if the word transforms in my spirit and gives birth to a deeper revelation unto my being that there is more. Spiritually I develop a connection with the Son of God that offers something to me that I will miss if I do not develop this concept. On track brings me to the adoption by way of redemption into something that gives me everything spiritually that will control my physical individuality as a member of Christ Jesus. The Bible says: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:” (Romans 8:14-16) As if one will summit entirely unto the calling of God into our lives then the spirit begins to give birth unto the revelation of agreement of the true essence of belonging to the Father. The Bible says: “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?” (Romans 8: 22-24) Look at how the spirit itself longs for the conformation of the spiritual representation of growth to belong to what is naturally the position of the spirit. To be in accordance with the creator Christ Jesus, like longing for the parent of maternal instinct to reconnect to. How many times have you ever thought about the uneasy feelings that come within your inner self that turns when you are off track or when something is not right. This happens when the alignment is being interrupted by the spiritual presence of another spirit that is not matching up with the spirit you are matching up with. This is remarkable how the Lord knew at this time you and I needed that particular revelation in order to grow within our spirit in this time and age. That not only is the physical agreement to walk by faith and clean my house and serve the Lord but the confirmation of the aligning of the spirit of Christ as a child longing for his mother would alert us to the presence of the adversary coming against us. Well how come everyone doesn’t have that ability? Some teachings even teach us that we all do not receive the same spiritual gifts. Let me help to examine that particular teaching this is not a gift this is the gift of salvation in its entirety. You see you longing for the Father is as natural as your earthly father warning you of danger. The Bible says: “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?  Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 7: 7-12) Notice how the revelation jumps out at us that some gifts are given some are ask for but there are others that have to be sought. This is that gift the one that comes with the revelation of understanding the entire picture of exactly what the foundation is and gives as we stay focus on the foundation. What we miss is the developing of this particular revelation because of the lack of seeking the entire revelation because of the tainting of the process of bringing your own thoughts to the revelation. With the revelation we can understand that our heavenly Father equip us with the ability to see the unseen by way of tuning in with our spirit and be alerted that the enemy is here. Praise God!!

Along with the revelation of the concept of the individual standing to clean their own house to receive the inner connection of the adoption of the spirit unto the Father that gives us conformation of being in position for us to belong. To be satisfying the massive urge of belonging as well as defense against the enemy to know when he is there even when we can not see it; Along with that we receive the next elevation of the “body” as we mature in the spirit. The understanding that in order for us to continue in anything the Father knew that the enemy attack is constant and we are not always strong. That if we do not grow into the fullness of the principles of the foundation of God’s revelation in our lives we will falter in the standing of Christ. You see the revelation that we all are together because we all are serving the same God is only the tip of the iceberg. We are called the Body of Christ Jesus because of this gathering of information that gives us understanding of the revelation that elevates us to the high thoughts of God if we come without presumptions.

You and I have to remember that our individual representation can not ever change because this is how the Lord calls us and judges us but the collation with the family or connection with one another adds a tremendous revelation unto it. Remember this verse: ““For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.” (Romans 12: 4-5)  This particular scripture took the understanding of the thought seeking for the revelation exploded in my spirit as the Apostle Paul record this in the letter to the Romans which was inspired by God to activate something within their inner being. Come with me and take this journey. If we all are judge and called alone then what is the necessity of having a member ship in a family. Watch this in the understanding of the revelation someone has to be there to help us move forward in our growth. God uses people to sharpen His people but the people He uses most are those that we have a relationship with. The ability to have a relationship with another gives us the fundamental training to build a closer relationship with Him, in other words this is my class room to grow in the Lord. The Body of Christ Jesus is the form for which I am used and receive the training of building a relationship with God to do what exactly what God want us to do. That is simply to be a tool to bring others in to the shelter out of the hurricane and keep them there safe from the enemy until they realize that they have to develop the desire to seek the fullness of the revelation that Christ have for us. How many times have you found yourself not socializing with certain people because you feel they have nothing to teach you, or they do not do what you do according to your understanding of what is right or wrong or a denominational teaching?  How many of you know that the enemy has a better aim at you if you are walking alone because there is nothing that blocks you from the hit. What if God tended for us to use the connection with Him to come together and protect one another from the attacks because we have the revelation of the true essence of God’s revelation? That the “Body” is my class room with others to be taught how to elevate myself unto the next level as well as to be protected and be the tool for which God uses to inspire one that is in need. As well as the most ultimate thing to be that shinning light where another can recognize themselves in you and come in out of the storm; most people that comes to the Lord is by way of connecting to another that brings them to the place to be convicted. So let us put the entire thing into a summary to keep this revelation into our spirit.

The body is the revelation of stages of growth to understand God’s revelation of evolution in the presence of the Lord. First I must realize that I must stand and get my house in order and remember that my focus should always be to get closer to the Lord as we do this we will receive the conformation within the spirit of the alignment with Christ that will satisfy all our needs as well of gives us a warning alarm against the enemy. So that we can enter into our class room to be trained in the art of relationship so we can draw closer to God and be a tool used by God to elevate, inspire, as well as draw others unto the Lord. Praise God for the revelation of His word! Now let us hold on to this revelation in application as well as giving unto one another the fullness of Christ Jesus. If we are willing to be used as a member in the Body of Christ Jesus we have to have the understanding that it is the call of God that determines the action for which we are given to do.

So our foundation have to be fixed in the proper style to stay focus on the foundation to understand that are building is not built by our hands but by the elevation of the foundation through the revelation of each level in Christ Jesus. Sometime we view the house being built after the foundation is build and the house is added to it. But the true essence of the knowledge with the revelation is that the foundation is what gets built upon to where the foundation becomes the house because this is what grows through our seeking the revelation of God.  I want you to see this if you constantly build to the foundation it grows up and out and if we seek refuge in the foundation then we have placed ourselves in the foundation which is stronger than any building or house. Christ Jesus place the revelation to this understanding when he utters these words: “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16: 17-19) If Christ represented by saying He will build His church upon that “rock” then you should build your house on the rock as you inhabitant your foundation as God builds it. Praise the Lord for the foundational rock that nothing can prevail against that gives me total victory, Praise the Lord. Remember to hold on to the principle of foundation!
